One man's junk is another man's treasure.
I've no doubt that some of you will agree with me there.
(And some of you will see the junk where I see the treasures.)
From a reference in the post below:
The twenty things I got for a buck.
The clock (which I seem to have a thing for. I love old clocks.) and the milk bottle (laying down near the front) were separate purchases.
To be honest, I don't even know what the metal things with the round circles are (laying at the back of the drawer)! I've seen a similar thing used as candle holders. I was thinking they may make a cool tool organizer or utensil holder when attached to a piece of crown molding or other such thing.
I seem to have a thing for a lot of things! I love old mirrors, usually painted white like the one laying on the bottom. Mark needed a calculator (near the front left). And the red (rather blurry looking) cap-thing up near the top right corner is from an old car. I'll add it to the collection of vintage automotive odds-and-ends for the boy's room. No idea what I'll do with it yet. But I'll think of something.
The white vase in the front right corner is a hobnail milk glass vase. At least I think that thing is a vase. I have one and I found another just like it today. Now I have three! There begins another collection. I also picked up that drawer itself, today. Another container for my Project Studio.
Oh, and those two dark brown things...they're kind of hard to see. - They're right in front of the tree stand. They're for electrical wires, the wires get strung through them up on telephone poles...I think. I'm thinking of making them into bookends. Just saw an idea on the Country Home website for bookends made from casters, by the Junkmarket girls.. :) I love ideas that bounce into other ideas. That always happens with me.

It's interesting reading your junk posts, Jen.
I tend to always be on the latter side of that phrase, i.e. my junk becomes someone else's treasure. :-) Especially since the few times I have found "junk", it eventually reverts to its roots, and becomes someone else's treasure. ;-)
