The sheet rock is coming along. This is a view from the living room where you can also see the loft and a peek of the dining area (through the openings to the left). The smaller opening is where I'm planning to put an old window that we found junk picking, this year. (Picture is blurry - low light). Note: Mark has always called it sheet rock and I've easily transitioned to do the same but I grew up calling it drywall.
The toy horse in the bottom left corner is a recent find at a sale a few weeks ago. I couldn't pass up the turquoise color! That and the fact that Carter wouldn't get off of it when it was time to leave...
Now I've to find a place to display it where bigger kids won't be tempted to ride it. Nikayda is too big and Aapo is borderline... (The horse itself is really small.) I've been thinking, maybe the laundry room... We'll have to see. :)

We used to have a horse like that! ...and of course we all used it when we were waaaaay too big.
I know! That's why I really liked this one. Reminded me of Cheyenne! (That's the name that was on our horse). I was too big to ride on her but I would pretend she was real. ;) This horse didn't come with a name - the kid's haven't named it yet. And this horse is a lot smaller than the one we had.
I love your ceiling and you'll love it even more cuz you'll never have to paint it. I hate painting ceilings, hard on the neck and arms.
