Help w/ Pronunciation

Alright all of you crafter friends and noncrafter friends, because this has nothing to do with crafting, how do you pronounce "Matelassé"? I figure someone out there is bound to know how to pronounce it. :) Here is an example of it on these pillows.

I found out how to pronounce "Toile" only last year. For those of you who don't know, it's pronounced - twall. I always knew that it wasn't pronounced - toyle - but I didn't know how you said it. And here is just one example of Toile. There are many different patterns but that gives you an idea.

(I know a lot of people may know what both of these are already, but just in case someone doesn't, I put up the examples for you).

According to the ever-helpful dictionary.com, it's pronounced maht-luh-sey, emphasis on the first (or mat(uh)-lah-sey, emphasis on the last)

Brittany had a term class in French and she said the same as Eliz.
