I'm dreaming of a digital camera.
I was on Sharyn's blog and her pictures are so amazing. So crystal-clear. (Not to mention the fact that she knows what she's doing.) I dream of the day that I'll have a digital camera of my own. (And know what I'm doing.) Don't get me wrong, I greatly appreciate the one on loan to me, but it'll be so nice to have one of my own. I can't wait for that day.
I've gotta do some research though. Meaning, I need to talk to you bloggers out there who post such nice pictures. (Especially Sharyn & Cami). I'd love to know what you like and don't like about your cameras? You both have such clear shots all the time and the colors look so nice. I'm also curious if you use Picasa (which I haven't had any luck with) or another photo-editing program that you like?
I'd love some feedback from anyone.

Sure but not Amanda. Just because she has the hottest boyfriend ever, you fail to ask about her great camera. Total jealousy.

I have a nikon D40. It's a good starter digital SLR camera for the rookie like myself. Although if you want to spend a little more, get the D50 or D80 and you'll have 11 point auto-focus which produces clearer pictures. (plus the lens is better) But they are all great cameras for taking pictures of kids, who can never sit still long enough to get a great shot. (the shutter speed is great.)
oh, one more thing, the nikon cameras come w/ there own editing program. probably not the highest quality but it's easy to use and the pictures turn out good.
