Congrats (K & J)

Life is a little more laid back, a little more slow in the northern woods of Minnesota and communication should be no exception. ;)

My sister in law Joan & Keith (Mark's brother) had a baby boy last Tuesday, July 10. Henry (not sure of the middle name). 7 lbs. something and Mark thought 19 inches. (I forgot to clarify the stats with Suzy when we were there last night). He joins big brother Grant!

Everything went well and she had a successful vbac!!

Great Expectations

Not sure if I said this before - my memory flew out the window after I had my second kid - but Emy and Matt are expecting. She's due in November for baby number 3.

Sara and Jon are expecting too. She's due in January for baby number 5!

Baby, Baby

My sister-in-law, Christi (and Joe T.), had her baby, this morning. Little Will Peter joins siblings: Micheal (9), Bradley (7) and Ellie (4). He was 9 lbs. 4 oz. ...I think... - It's already slipped my mind...I have THE worst memory. But I know, for sure, he was 22 inches. Ellie just turned 4, yesterday!

Dave & Shirley - 2007 Grandchildren:
Jason & Suzy M. (Mark's sister) had their sixth in February (Ginny). Paul & Peggy J. (Mark's sister) are expecting their sixth in the fall. Keith (Mark's brother) & Joan J. are expecting their second in July. Everyone always says how much their Grant and our Carter look alike. I'm so disappointed that I didn't get a picture of the two of them, this weekend! You can definitely tell their cousins. And Kenny (Mark's brother) & Lynn J. are expecting their first in July.

Fun Facts

• Jon and Sara have a new puppy, a black lab who looks like Lance. (Remember him? For those who don't, that was our dog when we were little). Frank was hit by a car, this fall. That was their first puppy. A dog named Frank.
• Sara told me, yesterday, that her 4 year-old, 3 year-old, and 2 year-old, all weigh 30 lbs.
• My 17 month-old, weighs 29 lbs. and my 3 year old, weighs 32 lbs. (3 lbs. difference and 21 months apart)
• CONGRATULATIONS to Kate & Tim on their impending arrival. I've heard she's been waiting for it to "get fun". Hope she's starting to feel better!! (I sympathize.)
