These are Nikayda & Aapo's summer covers (sheets).
I love vintage tablecloths - especially the small ones (as pictured above). They measure about 43 or 44 inches square (that's about 3 feet 7 or 8 inches). I added the measurement by feet because that's what I'm more familiar with myself. Anyway, they're a-dime-a-dozen at garage sales. (Believe it or not, I just had to go back and retype that. I wrote "rummage sales". Picking up on the habits of the north! They're listed in the paper under Rummage Sales in this area).
I came up with the idea after realizing, a couple of years ago, that my kids didn't have any thin blankets for covers in the summer and regular sheets were far too big for toddler beds and cribs. The tablcloths are perfect not to mention nice and soft too!
Note: I took the two that were the most worn and used them for sheets. These two even have a couple of little holes in them.
