Hey New Guys!

This message is for the new guys (new bloggers).

There was talk recently about blog stalkers. There are WAY more out there than you could know. Lol. (Stalkers - we don't mind, (if we actually know you) really. Just giving you a hard time!) But when you were talking about that I thought of this, you can put a 'counter' on your blog. (Those are the numbers up in my left corner there.) It shows how many 'hits' you get a day.

You can set it to count each individual person-per-day, meaning each computer that 'hits' your blog a day. Or you can set it for each individual time it gets hit. - Meaning, if you do that, the same person can add 3 hits in a row or many more. It counts each time they go to your homepage. So if they're reading in your archives and then they go back to your homepage it will count again. I have mine set for each individual person per-day, so it counts once a day for each person, rather than for each individual visit during the day. Am I making any sense here?!

It's really easy to get one. You can just double click on my counter or Amanda's or my mom's. My mom and I have the same one, different style. With ours (the link below), you are given an ad that appears on your blog under the counter. (Mine is for a Best Buy ipod). You can change the ad if you want a different one than the one you get. I don't think Amanda has an ad on hers. You can pick any style you want. Best part - it's free. Or you can click on the link below (that's where I got mine) but also note this isn't the only free counter website out there. You can find other ones if you don't want any of these. :)

I love this little feature. I get to see if anyone's reading my blog or not. I love that part! (And when the counts go up and no one's commenting - it shows me that there are a lot more blog stalkers are out there than I thought!) ;) Lol.
