Fountain of Youth

Oh the price we pay to be beautiful!

My neck is SO itchy and my face is on fire and red, all because I tried a free sample that came with my first Bath & Body Works order. And yes, I just said first! Woo-hoo, I've got prizes coming. I love fun things in the mail. They're like prizes! I've got a couple of Bath & Body Works orders coming, make that 3 because the one I got was only half of my first order. Lol.

And I finally narrowed down my wishlist enough - and used my gift certificate for Scrapsupply. I'm so excited! I wanted to order half a million dollars worth of scrapping materials (for frames & cards) but I exhibited a little self-control (I am capable of that now & again) and figured I'd start with one-thing-at-a-time.

Not that most of you even know what I'm talking about but I ordered the Tres Jolie - Ooh La La Deluxe Pack. Now doesn't that sound cool? It is. And, dude, I have no idea what all the scrapbook/card-making lingo is - but don't you worry. I will! (Pssst...there's a whole 'nother society out there...) ;) Now, I need to get a nice paper cutter. I've got an old Making Memories or is it Memories? Oh, that's it! It's a Memories (I think...) one but I need a 12" one!

I just let out a deep-exhale! That was thee first time I used "dude" since I started this blog...I think... Our family always uses it for a "joke" but also kinda serious. My dad says dude a lot! Actually, so do a lot of us...so I can't really talk. LOL.

Going back to my itchy/red neck. I love free samples! This particular one was for: Intensive Night Reversal and Repair Cream by Patricia Wexler a dermatologist - stuff sold at Bath & Body Works. Anyway.

Now, I couldn't help but think it sounded like something you'd buy at an automotive repair station. But putting those thoughts aside, I went ahead and applied it generously to my face and neck, as suggested. Well. At least this one held true to it's word.

It did a reversal on me! - just not quite in the way I expected it would. It not only reversed my skin but it went a step further and turned it completely inside out!

So now it's itchy, blotchy and red! Uuuck! And that's sort of my fault...

I should know better when I have sensitive skin!

I use an exacto knife, a glass mat and a metal ruler. ;)

And that Tres Jolie - awesome choice, one of my fave lines.

Thanks for the tip! That's *exactly* what I'm going to get.

*I suppose that would make it a little easier to cut out mattes for frames...* Lol.
