They were all watching the MN Energy crew working outside in our back alley.

I love to take pictures but I haven't taken very many since I had kids. Yeah, that seems kind of backward. Shouldn't it be the other way around?! But I haven't. Until a couple of months ago, when I "got" (meaning borrowed) a digital camera. I've been shooting like crazy, although, not as much as I'd like. I've been quite rusty and trying to get back-in-the-game. Only recently did I actually start focusing more on what I was doing. At first, I was just shooting like crazy - as if to catch up on all the pictures I've missed! Don't get me wrong, I've taken pictures of my kids. Just not as many as I'd like. I also fell back on the convenience of living near my family (in MI) - and they took many pictures while we lived there.

I dream of owning that perfect digital camera someday.

The house comes first. (Priorities, of course!)

I have a nice film camera but I never took the time to learn about all the fun features on it and I never invested in additional lenses for lack of money. (We've had our share of financial struggles over the years.) I'm not one to pick up a manual and read it. I'd rather someone just explained it all to me and showed me how it works. And since I've never taken any classes, I've never learned about all the features. But it has gotten plenty of use!

The one collection I have that takes up many, many boxes is my pictures. I have hundreds and hundreds from my younger years - especially from when I went out with the "kyds". I don't have a scanner yet but I can't wait to scan them. - A process that will take years. - But it'd be nice to have them all on CD's so I can toss out all those boxes - or at the very least, most of them! Plus, I think it'd be really fun to go through them...a trip down memory lane. Something I'm looking forward to once I get my Project Studio all set up in our new house. I need a very large table for that job! Most of them are organized (Mrs. Poyhonen must've stopped by) and I'm hoping that will make the job easier.
