Out of Her Mouth

It was really warm the other day and the kids were wearing shorts.

Nikayda: Mom, how come you never wear shorts?
Me: Because I think skirts are more flattering on me. (And, thinking in my head: that I don't like to bare my legs.)
Nikayda (never missing a beat): 'Cause your bum is so big?
Me: Uhhh...ummm..uuh.....

(Gotta love those Tormanen hips!)

I just wanted to add that Mark & Stan were working on John & Bec Tormanen's house recently. And this one's especially for Sharyn, I love the way he says Tormanen. He says, "Dad's workin' at Tordamens." And he says it really fast. :) I was just reminded when I heard him saying it a minute ago. They're playing house and going to "Tordamens".
