Old Toys
Some of my old toys in the kid's room - mostly 1970's some older and a couple newer.
~ CHANGING THE WORLD ONE PIECE OF {good} JUNK AT A TIME! ~ I'm a professional junk collector. When we were kids, my siblings had no appreciation for my love of junk and out of spite called me "Junkyard Jen". (Thankfully, it didn't stick...until I pulled it out of the bag for my screen name). Mark & I've been married for over 6 years. I stay-at-home with our 3 kids: Nikayda ("George"), Abram ("Aapo", it's Finnish , pronounced Ah-bow) & Carter ("Louie").

- I'm a collector. I love almost anything vintage. Buttons, sewing notions, linens, signs, toys, kitchenware, baby clothes, {toy} cars. You name it! I like what most people consider to be junk. I like almost anything {vintage} made from wood or metal. I also dream of owning a vintage pickup truck. In the meantime, I pacify myself with collecting old toy cars. One day I plan to make a profession out of selling junk.

Thanks! They're going in the boys room. I'm going with a 'transportation' theme. Old cars, license plates and signs. Mostly vintage.
I always wanted a theme bedroom when I was a kid so all of my kids are getting them. Nikayda's will have lots of old stuff too - girly pink stuff - lots of flowers. I want it to be a room she can grow in and it won't need to be changed much. (Not too much little girly stuff - just feminine.) I seriously can't wait...
The best part is my rooms will be garage-sale decorated! Anyone could do it if they wanted.
sounds like fun! especially for someone like you who absolutely loves junk picking and garage sales. I like garage sales a lot and get excited when I find great deals....however I do get discouraged easily if the first half have nothing.
