Me: What do you want for supper?
Aapo: A sandwich and chips.
Me: You need something healthier than that. (Referring more to the chip-part because that's all he'd eat and that's what he had for lunch - chips & salsa).
Aapo: I don't want healthier.
Me: You don't want healthier?
Aapo: No.

A moment later

Aapo: I'm mad. (Not sounding the least bit mad.)
Me: You're mad?
Aapo (off-handedly): Yeah.
Me: Why are you mad?
Aapo: I want a ba-mana.
