You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | |

Which Accent Are You?
Judy had posted this quiz on her blog. I thought it was fun! Here are my results. Man! What a relief to know that my voice is good for "TV or radio", seeing as how I've always thought it'd be so much more fun to drive a whole nation crazy rather than just a few friends and family with all of my talking. ;)

It says I have an Inland North accent-say what? I don't have an accent!
This is interesting. I have a "North Central accent which linguists call the Minnesota accent". It's funny because when I was doing Pampered Chef many years ago a guest asked me out of the blue if I was from Minnesota. When I surprisingly said yes, she said she could tell by my accent!
it said that i have a north central accent too! ive been asked by many people if im from minnesota, then they tease me on pronounciation! it doesnt sound to me like i have an accent but i guess everyone says that about themselves and says the opposite of someone else!
