I'm hand washing a bunch of vintage scarves (like vintage hankies, only much larger) and I'd love to hang them on the line! And take a picture!
I collect them. And I wear them on my head all the time - just not as much when it's summer and HOT out. Except when I'm workin' out at our property; they're great for keeping the sweat out of your eyes. :) I love vintage scarves.
And, well, to be honest...I'm kinda lazy about doing my hair. Ok. I'm very lazy about doing my hair. That's where the scarves come in pretty handy. ;) It's mighty convenient when I barely have to comb my hair until Sunday rolls around each week; and it's time for church. ;) Oh shucks. Even days I don't wear a scarf, I rarely bother combing my hair. Who am I kidding? I'm a mom. lol! ;) Who has time for combing their hair when there's so much else going on?! (And just between you and me, I keep one handy, right next to the door, should anyone happen to drop by). ;)
I picked up three more of them, yesterday, at the mission house for 50 cents a piece. And I love every one of them! I will post a picture another time...when they're all washed and dried.

That is cute!
I tend to wear bandanas a lot in the summer when I'm hiking. I bought a ton of different colors from REI one visit, just so I didn't wear the same blue one forever and ever. I'd wear them around more otherwise if they were less casual. Maybe I'll look for scarves.
You should! (look for them :) There are a million different patterns out there. This is actually my least favorite pattern - the one I wear when I'm at the property - the one I've been wearing a LOT lately. Lol! (I prefer large florals).
I just picked up two (50 cents each) while we were visiting my sister, the ladies got to go check out the antique shop!
I used to stop in at that shop when I lived in Cokato! (At least, I'm assuming it's the same one...unless they got another one since then). :)
You should see my hair in the morning. Sometimes I would have to bring one of the kids to school cause they missed the bus. I don't have time to fix my hair up so if it's winter time I just put on a winter hat (that I never wear by the way), but it would look funny in warmer weather to do that. I would be driving and praying that I don't pass anyone I know on the road. A scarf might do the trick. I think I might just have a scarf that was my grandmothers. Now I can't wait till Lauren misses the bus so I can give a scarf a try.
