Sneak Peak

The day we've waited our whole lives for is drawing near.

Don't we all dream of having our own home from the days of a little child playing house until the day we move into one? It's still a few weeks off and we've extended our stay at our rental for 2-4 more weeks but we're getting excited and not just a little stressed. ;)

This is a sneak peak, update of the exterior. Not too many changes since I posted the last picture. The builder* has requested that I wait a little longer for interior pictures. (Which I understand...no pressure. ;)

I can't remember what I've said about the house because it's been awhile but we've decided to put a second floor deck on the front. The window is temporary until we buy glass doors...and build the deck. (Mark has that sawmill that he loves and we have all the wood we could ever want at our disposal...) And the dormers won't have windows until we buy them. ;) The front door is temporary also. I should just start calling this our temporary, permanent house because all of the windows are also temporary until we buy other ones. He won't be doing the siding until after we move in. (That won't be temporary. ;)

*My husband. I can tell he's feeling the stress by the stress blisters he develops on his lips! He had them on our wedding day. Lol! ;)

It looks like you guys are going to have a nice big house for your family. We had lots of temporaries too(if that is such a word). But I figured after all we went through to build our house I was not moving or building for a very long time and I could be patient if things were just temporary. I can't wait to see more pictures.

That's exactly it! We're not planning to move so the temporaries (that's a good word!) work just fine for me.
