I'm not sure a caption is even necessary here. ;)
We were at our property on Sunday afternoon with Dale & Vanessa and Kevin & Stephanie and their kids. They hadn't seen our house yet.
Carter found the cookies and pulled them off the table! At one point, he was even dipping them in the dirt. Ugh. :) He was filthy - head to toe - but he sure had fun getting that way! All the kids were, for that matter. :) One day, we'll have grass but I don't even mind the dirt. It sure beats getting ticks! Which, knock on wood, none of us have gotten yet (besides Mark).

I saw my first-ever tick on the drive to Oregon. It was on Atlas. I freaked - thought a poisonous spider had embedded itself into my beloved pup and he was going to die - and had to call 911 (a.k.a. both the family and my sister) for aid. Sister calmly said it was a tick and to buy tweezers. At which point I panicked because now I thought he was going to die of Lyme Disease and what if I couldn't pull the tick out and left it in him. Yeah .. remember that I did caveat my "I don't panic" with "except in regard to the dog" ;-)
What's that saying - every child has to eat a peck of dirt in their lifetime? ;-) At least he's eating it with a side of cookie.
And I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it too. ;) (the dirt)
We're hoping to get a dog(s), sometime soon. I was talking to a friend who said there was something that you can get from the vet to prevent ticks. I'm definitely going to look into it because they're always on the dogs around here!
yeah .. now he's on flea/tick prevention stuff. I was trying to not use it as Weimys have sensitive skin. But it works so ..
