I just finished looking through all of the Cottage of the Month cottages. My three favorites are this one because of all of the rose pictures and white cupboards. The living room is just a tad too elegant for me but it's very pretty.
This one because of each piece of furniture featured in the bottom 7 pictures! Make that every picture. Her furniture is just gorgeous! This is the website owner's actual home and it's very pretty inside and out (garden)!
And this one starting with the pictures of the bedroom. The top pictures of the living area and dining room have elements that I like but I really like the other pictures especially all of the rose paintings in the bathroom! The aqua furniture (desk & shelf) and the pink furniture (mirror, bench, chair, and bookshelf) in the bedrooms. I just love the bedrooms and the bathrooms. I have nearly an identical vintage pink medicine cabinet that's in the bathroom (to the right of the picture) - only mine is pale green! I'm planning to put mine in the bathroom on the main floor of our house.
I dream of having a backyard (and front yard) like this! I like many elements of her house but I love the backyard - they're in the pictures down near the bottom.

I love checking out that blog. I just dream of having a home/yard like those. I know I never will as I am not that type of person. I also save too much stuff and I wouldn't know where to hide my stuff to keep my house looking like that. But for me it is nice to dream.
It's always nice to dream! I'm a collector and I never throw out anything either so keeping my house organized is going to be the biggest challenge for my neat-nick mind and with having little ones running around. I'm hoping to accumulate (over time) cupboards and cabinets like many pictured in those cottages to help keep things out of sight.
Now if only the kids will learn to listen when they are asked to pick up... ;) ...and I can get better about putting things away myself! Lol.
Jen-
Those are really neat homes! For myself, I cannot imagine dusting all of that!!!! Not that it would last that long anyways... boys just broke a plate yesterday. But the June house probably fit my style most (except the heart stones). Very adorable. Thanks!

Funny you should mention the dusting!
Earlier while I was folding clothes, I was pondering all of the junk that I'm going to decorate my new house with and I was thinking about how much I hate to dust. It's about my least favorite thing to do! Lol!
So then I was envisioning glass front cupboards around the house. *Was*...until the vision of toys and balls getting thrown into them and shattering them to a million little pieces came to mind!! ;)
And I'm not a heart person either. The stepping stones were interesting to me but I'd prefer good ol' squares or circles.
They are neat. Not at all my style, but I enjoyed looking at them, just because it's interesting how many different styles of decorating there are.
That's the thing with decorating - I love looking at what other people do and how they decorate - even when it's not my style or something I'd do at my house. I still find it interesting.
